Aggravated Assault Arrest in Schulenburg

On Sunday, February 9, at approximately 7:55 pm, Officers and Deputies responded to the 1200 block do South St. for a subject being chased by a vehicle.
The vehicles were located and stopped. A male subject had fresh wounds to his arm which were consistent with having been stabbed. He claimed a woman had sprayed him with pepper spray and proceeded to stab him.
The female admitted to both stabbing the male and spraying with him with pepper spray, but claimed it was in self defense after being tased. Sheila Gaines (50), of Schulenburg, was arrested for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
