Narcotics Arrest in LaGrange

This past Saturday at approximately 1:00pm, Deputy Wesly Arrison was dispatched to the apartment complex near the intersection of US Highway 77 and FM 2145 in reference to a disturbance.
Deputies identified a female subject involved in the disturbance as Karen Huang (38) of Houston. Huang had previously been in the parking lot of a hotel located in the 600 block of State Highway 71 in La Grange. Huang began to urinate within public view. A male passerby began to film this criminal act as it was in progress. When Huang observed the male filming her, she followed him into the apartment complex and began blocking his exit.
The registration on Huang’s vehicle had expired and the vehicle was also displaying a fraudulent temporary tag. The vehicle was not insured and also had a salvaged title. The vehicle was inventoried and impounded for the violations.
During the inventory of the vehicle, Deputy Arrison located drug paraphernalia, marijuana and narcotics.
Huang was arrested and transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center for booking.
