Criminal Mischief Arrest in Schulenburg

On Wednesday, February 5, at approximately 4:52 am, Schulenburg Officers responded to the 500 block of Baumgarten St., for a report of an active disturbance possibly involving a weapon.
Officers arrived and observed a male in the roadway holding what appeared to be a pipe in his hands. Officers gave commands to drop the object which the male complied with before detaining the subject pending investigation.
After speaking to multiple parties, it was determined the male had used a gardening hoe to break out the rear windshield of a vehicle.
Germaine Thompson (41), of Weimar, was arrested for Criminal Mischief, then transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center for booking.
