Drug Arrest in Schulenburg

According to Schulenburg Police Department, on Monday, November 25th, at approximately 1:!6pm, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the Shorthorn Express Convivence store parking lot for a traffic violation. While speaking with the occupants, Officers observed marijuana in plain view. A probable cause search was conducted and additional marijuana and a loaded handgun were found in the passenger's backpack.
Cedric Leblanc Jr (21), of Garwood, was arrested for possession of Marijuana <2oz and Unlawful carrying a weapon. He was transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
