A Wildfire erupted on Sunday in Bastrop County has been mostly contained following heavy rainfall and sustained emergency response. 85% of the fire has been contained. The blaze, which officials said was caused by a nearby building fire was reported shortly before 2pm Sunday and quickly grew to 400 acres. Local Officials ordered the evacuation of dozens of homes in the fire's projected path, which included northern and non-public areas of Bastrop State Park.
