Pursuit in Schulenburg

In Schulenburg on Thursday, October 24, at approximately 12:33 am, Officers were flagged down at Whataburger in reference to someone asleep in their vehicle at the drive thru window.
Officers were able to wake the driver and observed signs of possible intoxication.
The driver fled southbound onto N. Kessler Ave. at a high rate of speed. Officers pursued the vehicle and eventually found it unoccupied at a residence in the 900 block of James Ave. Contact was made with the residents who were the driver’s parents.
Officers were allowed into the house where, Daniel Kossa (26), of Schulenburg, was taken into custody.
He was charged with Evading Arrest or Detention With a Vehicle and transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice center for booking.
