In Giddings, a man was arrested for attempting to burglarize a storage building. A Deputy with Lee County Sheriff's Department observed suspicious activity near Giddings Self Storage at 5:15 in the morning. A Male subject noticed the Deputy and took off running away from the area. A foot race ensued and the subject was chased down and taken into custody. Lee County Sheriff Garrett Durenburger identifies the man arrested as 55 year old Bryan Paige of Lexington. He is also accused if breaking into several other buildings in the area.
