Ledbetter Man Sentenced to Prison
A Ledbetter Man has been sentenced to prison. 39 year old Alex Bradshaw of Ledbetter has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for his actions surrounding the death of Carlos Ramone Greene on March 5th this year in Ledbetter. On March 5th of this year, the Lee County Sheriff's Department recieved a 911 call advising that a man had been shot on the Lee County Side of Ledbetter. Ledbetter is divided by 3 County's. 1 part Fayette County, 1 part Lee County and 1 Part Washington County. Lee County Deputies arrived at the scene and found an African American Male lying behind a residence. The Man was identified as Carlos Greene. He had been killed by two gunshot wounds. Authorities don't believe that Alex Bradshaw, whom lived in the area, was responsible for the murder, they did however charge him with tampering with evidence involving a human corpse.3 Men are believed to be the murders of Carlos Greene, remain in the Lee County Jail. Sheriff Garrett Durenburger identifies the 3 as, 18 year old Jayden Medearis of Giddings, 27 year old Atlantic Eredia-Johnson of Giddings and 19 year old Tavion Williams of Midland.
