In Giddings, a Man has been sentenced to Prison on charges of kidnapping. 38 year old Kevin Cormier of Caldwell has been held in the Lee County Jail since the incident occured. The incident began on Monday, February 6th, 2023 when a Giddings Woman arrived at the Giddings Police Department reporting that she had been held against her will for more than 6 weeks. The Victim told police that she had been assaulted and held captive by Kevin Cormier.
