Firearm Disturbance in Fayetteville

Last Night, The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office Received a 911 call regarding a disturbance involving firearms on Halamicek Loop near FM 1291 near Fayetteville.
One person received minor injuries and was evaluated on scene by Fayette County EMS. They were transported by Sheriff’s Deputies to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and interviewed by investigators.
After an extensive search of the area by FCSO deputies, Texas DPS, and the Austin County Regional Special Response Team as well as air support units no additional suspects were located.
At this time we do not believe any threat of danger exists to the community.
