Traffic Stop Leads to Drug

Recently, at approximately 5:43 PM, an HPD officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 Blk of E Fourth St for a traffic infraction.
A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted which resulted in crack cocaine being located.
The driver (26) of Colombia was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. A passenger (22) was detained and later turned over to the custody of the US Border Patrol.
We continue our efforts in removing illicit drugs off the streets and out of our community.
