Lost Child Returned

On Tuesday, July 9, at approximately 4:02 am, Officers and Deputies with the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, Texas- Sheriff Keith Korenek made contact with a male discovered to be a juvenile with special needs in the 100 block N. Kessler Ave. who appeared lost and needed help.
The juvenile stated he left home and wasn’t sure where he lived and didn’t have a cellphone to call anyone. With the assistance of the Colorado County Sheriff’s Office Officers were able to get contact numbers for the juvenile’s parents.
The juvenile’s parents were contacted and were unaware of the child being out of the house. The juveniles father arrived a short time later and took custody of the child.
