Family Violence Arrest in Schulenburg

Shortly before 2 this morning, Schulenburg Officers and Deputies responded to a residence in the 300 block St, John Rd. for a report of a disturbance. The caller advised the suspect fled the house and was hiding in brush behind the residence. Officers located him a short time later and detained him pending investigation. After contacting the caller and observing fresh injuries to her face, Ulises Lopez (26), of Schulenburg, was arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member then transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
