Disturbance in a Vehicle leads to Arrest for Multiple Charges

On Saturday, June 15th, at approximately 8:35 pm, Deputy Ty Roggenkamp and Sgt. Ryan Meagher responded to a disturbance near La Grange, which was occurring in a vehicle that was still moving. The victim was on 911 with Dispatchers who were able to ping her location as the vehicle moved.
Deputies located the vehicle which evaded from Deputies. Deputies observed the vehicle pull into a parking lot at a local bar where the driver fled on foot into the establishment. Deputies located the subject inside of the bar and placed him into custody.
The driver identified as Christopher Eilert (34) of La Grange, Texas was arrested and charged with the following:
Evading Arrest/Detention with Vehicle
Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family/Household
Unlawful Restraint
