On Sunday, April 14, a Hallettsville Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on a pedestrian in the 100 Blk Jerry St. Further investigation revealed that the adult male had a stolen pistol concealed on his person. The pistol was previously reported stolen in a burglary of motor vehicle case in 2020. The adult male (35) of Hallettsville, was arrested for theft of a firearm and was booked into the Lavaca County Jail.
