Hallettsville Police Department reports that yesterday, a local business received a phone call from a person attempting to collect payment for google ads. The person who answered the phone at the business challenged the caller who ultimately hung up. Never give out any personal information over the phone. If the phone call seems suspicious, hang up and notify law enforcement.
