Warrant Arrest in Schulenburg

On Friday, November 3, at approximately 9:31 am, Schulenburg Officers observed a subject known to have a warrant for his arrest walking in the 400 block of Paulus St.
Contact was made with the subject who was walking with the flow of traffic (a violation of TX traffic law) and he was made aware of the warrant.
The subject also admitted to currently having a firearm on his person. After the subject was detained in handcuffs the firearm was removed and a check was ran on it. The recovered firearm was confirmed as stolen out of Fayette County.
Treyvon Phillips (24), of Schulenburg, was arrested for a Motion to Adjudicate - Theft of Firearm (warrant) and additionally charged with a new count of Theft of Firearm for the one he currently had.
Treyvon was transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
