On Saturday, October 21, in Hallettsville, an Hallettsville Police Officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a male subject operating a motorcycle that was traveling at a high rate of speed. The adult male refused to stop and lead HPD on a brief vehicle pursuit. The adult male eventually came to a stop. The adult male (22) of Hallettsville was arrested for evading in a motor vehicle and was booked into the Lavaca County Jail.
