Vehicle Pursuit in Halletsville

On Tuesday, October 17, Hallettsville PD was dispatched to the 1400 blk E Fourth St for a vehicle traveling towards Hallettsville at speeds of around 100mph.
HPD located the vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop however, the driver refused to stop and weaved in and out of lanes of traffic in an attempt to elude Law Enforcement. The driver eventually came to a stop in a private drive. The adult male driver (32) of Big Wells, was arrested for evading in a motor vehicle and was booked into the Lavaca County Jail.
