Illegal Gambling and Prostitution bust in Bastrop County

Sheriff Cook announced in Bastrop County, after a nearly 6 month long investigation into illegal gambling and prostitution, the Bastrop County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit with the Assistance of the Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission (TABC) conducted a search and arrest warrant at two locations at 1186 N. SH 95 Bastrop,TX. Delco Mart and Zoo Market were searched for illegal gaming devices.
Ameena Bhaidani and Joshua Lovett were arrested, at the location, for Possession of Gambling Devices and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity. Investigators seized gaming devices, illegal narcotics, and proceeds from the gambling operation. More arrests are expected to be made after completion of the investigation.
