A Man with ties to Weimar has been sentenced to life in prison following a trial at the Fayette County Courthouse. On May 30th, 2021, David Harrison Jr. was shot to Death at his low rent apartment, at the River Valley Apartments on Eblin Street in LaGrange. Charles Lee Tillman was quickly named suspect in the murder. Charles Lee Tillman successfully evaded authorities for more than 5 months. On November 9th, 2021, thanks to information for Fayette County Crimestoppers, Tillman was arrested in Kileen. The Fayette County Jury listened to 3 days of Testimony before finding Charles Lee Tillman Guilty of Murder. He was subsequently sentenced to life in prison. David Harrison Sr., Father of the victim in this case, was once employed at the Fayette Power Plant East of LaGrange. In Addition to having ties to Weimar, Charles Tillman also reportedly has ties to the Smithville Area.
